Two groups of professors have also made a case
Professors at Harvard University also filed a case against President Donald Trump’s administration in Massachusetts Federal District Court on April 12.
The case was filed by two groups of professors against the threat to withhold the funds of the university. In fact, at that time, the Trump administration was reviewing a $ 9 billion fund given to Harvard University.
Harvard’s professors cited that Trump’s decision was violated by the US Constitution’s first reform. Professors have alleged that cutting the university funds is a violation of the freedom of expression.
The petition filed in the court also demanded a stopping Trump administration’s decision.
Failed to fail to stop hatred against Jews on university
Recently, the Trump administration sent a letter to Harvard. In this letter, the university was asked to fulfill some terms. Failure to do so feared the university to withhold federal funds.
The move was taken due to the Trump administration’s claim that reputed organizations like Harvard have failed to stop Jewish-opposition (hate against Jews). The administration alleged that Jewish students and professors were discriminated against on campus.
Funding research from the university is important for student scholarships and many science and medical projects.

Last year, exhibitions were held in the support of Palestine at many American universities against the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Thousands of students participated in the exhibition. According to the AP report, more than 1000 students were also arrested.
In the meantime, students at Harvard University hoisted the Palestinian flag. The university called it against the policy and said that action would be taken against the students.

The Trump administration withdrew Rs 33 billion to Columbia University
The Trump administration took strict action against Columbia University and canceled a grant of US $ 400 million (about Rs 33 billion). The administration also accused Columbia University of failing to stop protests against Jews.
